A huge range, shifting prices
With so many varieties sold by weight and pack, and market prices that move, price lists dated quickly and quotes had to be checked again and again.
How Atlas Fine Foods gave its interstate sales team and customers one ordering system and grew average order value by 20%.
20% increase in average bulk order value
Easy browsing across the full range helped customers add more lines to each bulk order.
24% faster turnaround from enquiry to confirmed order
Live stock, pricing and freight removed the waiting between a question and a confirmed order.
16% growth in repeat bulk orders from existing customers
Standing orders and one-tap reordering kept regular buyers coming back.
The Challenge
Atlas Fine Foods Import and Export is a wholesaler of quality groceries, offering more than 800 varieties of nuts, grains, pulses, spices, dried fruits, seeds and more. Many of them are new or hard-to-find selections imported from around the world and shipped with great care to protect freshness.
Selling bulk ingredients across several states is a hands-on business. Three things made it harder than it should have been.
"Our reps were great at relationships, but they spent too long chasing prices, stock and freight. We wanted that to be instant."
With so many varieties sold by weight and pack, and market prices that move, price lists dated quickly and quotes had to be checked again and again.
Sales reps in different states took orders by call and note. They could not always confirm what was on the shelf, so customers sometimes waited for answers.
Customers could collect or have goods delivered, with free freight in many areas and estimates for others. Working this out for every order took time.
The Solution
Atlas Fine Foods brought its ordering onto ProSessed so that customers, reps and the warehouse all work from the same information. The full range is organised by category, from pulses and grains to nuts, spices and dried fruits, with current prices and pack sizes in one place.
Sales reps now take orders on the mobile app with live stock in front of them, so they can confirm availability on the spot. At checkout, customers choose warehouse pick-up or delivery, and the platform shows the freight position straight away, whether it is free or estimated.
ProSessed was also tailored to how Atlas trades. Custom workflows support price updates as market conditions change, and standing orders for customers who buy the same ingredients on a regular schedule.
Browse by category, filter by pack size and see current pricing without hunting through lists.
Reps in each state place orders in minutes and confirm stock on the spot.
Customers choose how they want to receive goods and see the freight position at checkout.
One shared view of stock avoids over-promising and speeds up picking and dispatch.
Regular buyers reorder in one tap, and price changes flow through to every order.
See which categories and states are growing, with daily, weekly and monthly reports sent automatically.
